Production Process

There are many types of reinforced glass fiber, such as chopped fiber yarns, continuous fiber rovings, grid cloths, chopped fiber mats, etc. Different types of glass fiber are incorporated into the cement matrix in different ways, the same type of glass The method of fiber incorporation into a cement matrix is also not exactly the same. And the glass fiber blending amount and application method have a great influence on the mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced cement composites.

This constitutes a variety of glass fiber reinforced cement composite manufacturing processes, such as spray process, premixed spray process, pre-mixed pouring process, injection molding process, cloth network process, surround process. Each production process has its own characteristics and is suitable for manufacturing different products. Of course, the equipment used is also different.

1, spraying process

The jetting process is the earliest and most versatile method of making grc plates, including manual jets and automatic jets. In the early 1970s, the British Building Research Institute (BRE) first used this method to manufacture glass fiber reinforced cement (GRC).

Regardless of whether the manual injection is still a mechanical injection, the injection process requires special operators and special equipment. The correctness of the operation method greatly influences the strength and durability of the GRC. Regarding the jetting process, the glass fiber is randomly distributed in the cement mortar in a two-dimensional random direction, the useful utilization of the fiber is high, and the physical properties of the product are also good.

2, premixed process

In the premixing process, the chopped glass fiber and the cement mortar matrix are stirred together to form a uniform glass fiber cement mixture, and then the product is made by pouring or spraying. According to the different forming methods, the premixing process can be divided into premixed pouring process and premixed spraying process. The premixed pouring process is similar to that of precast concrete products, and a sensational process is often used in the pouring process.
