This GRC board building is more complex than the bird nest? Have you seen it?

The Nanjing Youth Olympic Center is the first large-scale application of the GRC board to modern public buildings in China. It marks the development of China's GRC assembly construction technology and its application to the world's leading level.

The construction was planned by the famous Zaha Hadid. The project was awarded the first prize for the outstanding use of China's decorative concrete planning contest and won the 2015 World GRC Association's only global championship award.

The total area of the project is more than 400,000 square meters, including two super high-rise buildings, which are 58 floors of 258 meters and 68 floors of 315 meters. The conference center is about 47 meters high. It includes a 2,000 large conference hall, a 500 music hall, three multi-function halls, and small and medium-sized meeting rooms, VIP rooms and other supporting facilities.

Nanjing's urban planning and construction style are relatively neat and tidy. The World Youth Exchange Center is full of charming and dynamic. It is a wonderful work in Nanjing's urban construction.

The GRC is a major highlight of this intention.

Through the prefabrication of GRC concrete slabs, Zaha has been able to display many hyperboloids on the building body, and the clutter exceeds the Beijing Bird's Nest. A 110,000 square meter GRC was used on the entire exterior of the project, basically inventing a world record.

Another miracle of this intention is to use it from the beginning of planning to the conference center. It only takes three years before and after. It is incredible that such a messy planning and construction will end in such a short period of time.

The windows on the exterior of the GRC bring changing light to the interior. All lighting design in the room echoes the windows on the external walls, enhancing the sense of being in the room.
