GRC product material composition

Cement: The cements commonly used in GRC include fast-hard sulphoaluminate cement, low-salt sulphoaluminate cement, ordinary portland cement, and white portland cement.

Fibers: The fibers used in GRC materials must be alkali-resistant glass fibers. The types include alkali-resistant glass fiber rovings, alkali-resistant glass fiber chopped yarns, and alkali-resistant glass fiber meshes. The European and American countries require that the content of glass fiber zirconia used in the GRC should not be lower than 16.5%. China requires that the content of zirconia be not less than 16.5% when ordinary Portland cement is used.

Polymer: The polymer that is usually added is acrylic, ie acrylate copolymer emulsion.

Additives: Additives such as superplasticizers, plasticizers, retarders, early strength agents, antifreeze agents, rust inhibitors, etc. can be added selectively: When the product contains steel reinforcement or steel embedded parts Calcium chloride-based admixtures must not be used.

Other materials: Some pozzolanic active materials can be selectively added to improve the overall performance of GRC products such as strength, impermeability, and durability.
