Production Process

In addition, the glass fiber blending amount and application method have a great influence on the mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced cement composites.

This constitutes a variety of glass fiber reinforced cement composite material manufacturing process, such as the eruption process, premixed eruption process, pre-mixed pouring process, injection molding process, cloth network technology, surround technology. Each production process has its own characteristics and is suitable for producing different products. Of course, the equipment used is also different.

1, eruption process

The eruption process is the oldest and most used method of making GRC products, including craft eruptions and active eruptions. In the early 1970s, the British Institute of Construction (BRE) first used this method to make glass fiber reinforced cement (GRC).

No matter whether it is mechanical eruption or mechanical eruption, the eruption process requires specially trained operators and special equipment. The correctness of the operation method greatly influences the strength and durability of the GRC. Regarding the eruption process, the glass fibers are dispersed randomly in the two-dimensional random direction in the cement mortar. The useful utilization rate of the fibers is high, and the physical properties of the products are also good.

2, premixed process

In the premixing process, the chopped glass fiber and the cement mortar matrix are mixed together to form a uniform glass fiber cement mixture, and then the product is made by casting or eruption. According to different molding methods, the premixing process can be divided into premixed pouring process and premixed eruption process. The premixed pouring process is similar to that of precast concrete products, and it is often accompanied by a sensational process during the pouring process.
