GRC board can avoid the construction cracks

Most of the GRC panels are made of 1.5 to 3 meters/root in exterior decoration, and are mounted together with multiple connections to outline the effect of the exterior wall. On the one hand, due to its heavy weight, uneven force during installation, affected by its own weight. Cracks occur between adjoining joints. On the other hand, the lines are connected by multiple joints during installation. The joints used in construction are mostly filled with 1:2 cement mortar, and their thermal expansion coefficient is different from that of GRC cement products. Causes cracks; when GRC lines are installed, especially in the horizontal direction, no expansion joints are left. When the temperature changes, the joints are pulled apart or squeezed to crack.

Avoid security risks

In order to prevent the position of GRC components in the prefabricated reinforcing steel frame from developing in the direction of reinforcing steel corrosion cracks, prefabricated steel mesh reinforcements and embedded parts of GRC components shall be treated with galvanized steel bars or stainless steel bars or other rust-proofing treatments to avoid rust expansion. Cracks eliminate safety hazards.

Satisfy construction requirements

The GRC board is installed on the outer wall. Generally, according to the installation drawings provided by the manufacturer, 8 to 10 ordinary expansion bolts are installed on the outer wall, and then the quasi-six steel bars are welded together with the embedded reinforcing bars, or the bumps are arranged directly with the expansion bolts. The top flower is fixed on the wall. In the above installation methods, spot welding methods are generally adopted in construction. The length of the weld seam cannot meet the requirements. After the expansion bolt hits the wall, it is easy to play in the brick seam and cannot play a role, failing to meet the specifications of the construction. The requirements of the installation of GRC lines have brought about hidden dangers.
